Shares of US-traded airlines based in Latin America fell sharply on
Monday as the price of oil rallied on concerns of heating oil supplies
and a comments from an OPEC official. As the oil consumer get affected
for the price of oil, many Oil producer are making a party with their
profits.
Light, sweet crude for July delivery rose 42 cents to $127.77 a barrel
on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The jump took a cue from a spike
in the price of heating oil following temporary outages at some
refineries in Europe.
Meanwhile, Iran's top Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries
official said there is no need for a special OPEC meeting to discuss
raising output, said Phil Flynn, an analyst at Alaron Trading Corp. in
Chicago.

Empreasa Brasileira de Aeronautica SA lost $1.72, or 4.6 percent, to $35.81. The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer said Monday it signed a contract for an undisclosed amount for the sale of two EMBRAER 190 jets to the Brazilian government.
The broader ADR market was lower Monday. The Bank of New York Latin America ADR Index fell 6.08 points, or 1.2 percent, to 493.49.
The Bank of New York Composite ADR Index slipped 2.54, or 1.4 percent, to 180.30.
ADRs, or American Depositary Receipts, are securities designed to allow U.S. investors to trade shares of companies based overseas.
